MY LITTLE SISSY

is gone.

Early Friday morning I held her in my arms wrapped in John's favorite sweater while the Vet put her to sleep. She was my whole life. She's all I had. From the nite John died and she tried to tell me she's been glued to me and I've been glued to her. I never even pee'd without her right there with me while we talked or I'd tickle her,she liked that. We took our afternoon nap together and she slept with me every nite. She even went to 2 craft shows last Fall. Marcia took us to the Simple Goods show and Lauren,Rugs and Pugs took us to the Spirit of Friends show. Lori Rippey had sent me Zoe's puppy pouch that you wear on your chest, since Zoe had quickly outgrown it. For Sissy even a puppy pouch was a little too big but she'd keep her little head out and enjoyed the shows. Even though I was in my wheelchair I couldn't get around to look too well cause EVERYBODY wanted to see Sissy.
She was my whole life and now I'm totally alone. Tiny as she was she filled this house and now it just feals so empty just as I do.

  4. Sherry,
I am so so so sorry for your loss of little Sissy. I will keep you in my prayers that you will be alright. The pain we have when we lose someone so close is testament to the love we shared. That is what's most important. Such a dear precious little one she was! I'm sure she's romping and playing over that rainbow bridge with a liittle Yorkie I knew so well too named Reggie! They are most wonderful and sweet little dogs! Sending big hugs to you Sherry!
    Love,

  10. I know what you mean. Our Daisy was sick just last year and we did not want her to suffer so had to put her to sleep just one year ago today. I still expect to see her when I come in the door, and miss her telling me it's time to go to bed for the night. It's hard. Sorry for the loss of your Sissy.

Maybe in a little while you can adopt from a shelter. You need company and dogs are so good at being company!

  20. Sherry,
Here I go again--think I might have it figured out how to get on this blog, Usually I use my Yahoo e-mail address, but this blog only uses google.

I e-mailed you Saturday when I could not get on and ended up e-mailing myself...I really am computer illiterate!

I want you to know how heart broken I am for your losing your sweet little Sissy. I have prayed that God would give you peace and comfort. I'm a widow of 11 years and know how it hurts to lose a loved one.

    Hope you're doing better,
    Martha

  21. So sorry to hear about your sweet baby. Just this moment, I'm sad too...our little kitty, Fluffy is missing. He hasn't been home since Friday morning and I'm worried about him. He suffers from seizures and I fear that he's had one and died away from home.

If he's in heaven right now, I hope he's with your little Sissy and the two of them are having the time of their lives.

Truly, I'm sorry for your loss. Know that I'm thinking of you and that you're not alone.

  27. WOW I didn't know that all these posts were here till just now. I just got an email from Lori Rippey telling me that Teresa M.
had emailed her asking how I was and that I must not have approved comments yet. I didn't understand because I've never had to approve posts on this blog before.
I am so sorry I would never be so rude not to respond to all these comments. WhenI finally found them I read them all 3 times through tears.
I'm so sorry for all of your losses too.
Diane I hope you've found your cat.My Dear Lori B. I know the right cat will show up for you.
I've had dogs all my life. Most of our 46 years of marriage we had 2. Sissy's name came from getting her for our little Katie Bug,also a yorkie, who was so sad after we had to put Katie's buddy Tubby to sleep. Katie bug died a few years ago. I took her ashes to the funeral home to be put with John's ashes. As much as I loved all our other dogs something ended up different with Sissy & me since John died, really just a short time ago, just over 1 1/2 years ago. 24/7 every minute, day & nite it's just been Sissy & me.
I really can't stand it. I feel like a lost soul and just empty.
God Bless you ALL for your kindness. There are no words that I can use to tell you how much your comments have meant to me. I'm just so glad that I finally found them.
    THANK YOU
    Sherry
