NOT A GOOD END TO 2013 PLEASE God Could 2014 be better than the last 2 years

So I've been selling on eBay for well over 14 years. Started sometime after I became too ill to travel to do shows. When I started I didn't even know how to turn a computer on,so I'd take pictures of the item and write everything down in a notebook and my husband would list everything on eBay. He knew more about the computer because when they disabled him from his job as a Firefighter,I promised him that I would buy him a computer if I earned enough money at the show I was doing, since his injury kept him from working at the job he loved and from his part time job also. Learning things to do on the computer really helped him. Eventually I started to teach myself so then I did all my listings of my auctions. I've listed constantly all these years, but since he died,my selling on eBay became even more important because I need the income from selling my work to help support myself. Yesterday morning I did what I do every morning, got my coffee and turned on the puter and got a VERY BIG SHOCK. I have been suspended from eBay and my auctions were removed. This is what happened. One Saturday morning several weeks ago I turned on the puter and there was an email to contact my credit card co. Capital One immediately,so I did. Someone had stolen my credit card # and since 5 that a.m. they had been trying to charge things about every 6 minutes. Well the creeps picked the wrong one to steal because it was just a small limit card that I got after my husband died,to build my own credit. I seldom use it.The last time was the beginning of Sept.so most places that they tried to charge wouldn't go through because it was over my limit. Ha serves them right!!! BUT they managed to have a sale go through on eBay.Capital One notified Paypal, who in turn filed a claim against ME. To try to shorten this after over 2 hours on the phone yesterday in a 3 way between me,eBay & paypal nothing as been resolved. Ebay lady told PayPal guy that they'll reinstate me if they drop this claim against me. PayPal says they can't do that till the investigation is over & Capital One closes it. Capital One says that they can't close it till the merchant responds within the 45 days that they've given them. She tells me that it won't be till the 1st week of Feb. I told eBay & PayPal that they should have never put that charge through because I don't even have that card registered with them AND they're telling me that they couldn't call me back because it was the wrong phone #. I've had the SAME phone # registered with them for OVER 10 YEARS. Has anybody ever had a problem like this???? ..

STUFF!!!!

The other day my magazine, A PRIMITIVE PLACE came in the mail. When I got a chance to look at it,I was turning the pages, enjoying all the pictures and then I came to page 60. OMG!!!! Is that MY rug??? Gotta be my rug cause it's an OOAK!! Let me check!! So I looked back at my pictures and yup there it was,my rug!!! I had adapted a doodle drawing for needle punch,by my friend Robin,BIRD IN THE HAND PRIMITIVES. SO COOL!!! AND it really stands out in the picture!!! It's seen on page 61 too. Even though it doesn't say that it was made by me,I know it and now all of you do too!!!!

So last Sunday,Audust 4th was my Birthday.
When I got up, I didn't think much of it. It would just be another day, like all the rest. I did tell Meshe though that it was my birthday. She didn't seem to care either.
I got my coffee, turned on my puter as usual and THEN all the Happy Birthday wishes started coming through on Facebook!!!! It continued ALL day!!! There were even some on Saturday & Monday!!! In the end I guess there were over 70 comments, pictures & even an E-card!!!! I was SO overwhelmed!!! I HAD to thank all these people!!! All these people took their time to write Happy Birthday to me!!! So I took this picture of Meshe & me to post and tell them that they had put the "Happy" in Birthday for me!!!

My friend took this picture when we got home from the orthodontist after getting my braces off. This is the 2nd pic she took. In the 1st one Meshe was kissing my cheek, but it was too blurry to see.
Haven't said anything before, but yes I had to have braces put on my teeth. I was supposed to have them on for 2 years. I tried really hard, but I only made it 7 months. I was in constant misery for everyday of those 7 months due to my MS. I thought that God gave me a miracle cause they had moved back into place!!! The Dr. agreed and I thanked him and gave him a hug!!!
BUT and this s a BIG BUT!!!
Because of my MS I developed a vitamin D deficency. I had always had good teeth before. Having no vitamin D attacks the teeth & gums. I have periodontal disease at the worst level. So at this time last year I had to have 2 surgeries on 3 teeth. BAD surgery!! Would NEVER wish it on anyone!!! With the 1st surgery we discovered that I had all of the sudden developed an allergy to penicillion!!
As things stand now,my dentist had called me and told me that she REALLY doesn't like my x-rays that they took after removing my braces. The plan was that she would be making a bridge to fill in an area on the bottom where a tooth is missing. But she says she can't because one of the teeth that she was going to connect it to is one that they operated on and I have no bone left. She says I need an implant. Well this implant would cost $3000!!! Isn't that TOTALLY ridiculous???? If I don't get the implant my teeth are going to keep moving. Through this past year,I'm always aware of my teeth. They don't really hurt, but I feel kind of a pressure all the time.
I'm feeling very sad about all this, because when I saw the orthodonist 2 weeks ago, he said that sadly he feels that I may lose more teeth due to my disease and that I can't afford the implant. Guess he can say that because I still owe him money & for the surgeries that I had, which costs $2600. I don't have dental insurance so I'm in debt above my eyeballs for my teeth. I keep paying as much as I possibly can and working as hard as I can making things to sell, but that hasn't been working out so well. Just don't know what I'm going to do. The disease attacks your heart & stomach.I've even wondered how much that has to do with my colon (that they'd like to remove,NOT happening) and my intestines being so messed up.
Oh well, one day at a time!!! Right now I'm still trying to figure out where I should live, since these land contract payments are taking most of my money every month. I've got so much money invested here and I've been trying to get to talk to the owner (when he finds the time) about getting a mortgage or what I could get back to leave. Don't know where I'd go though.
Well I better get to work!!! This one finger typing I do takes too much time lol!!!!
Oh and today is my son's 47th birthday. Now that's just WRONG!!! I'm too young to have a kid that age!!! When he turned 40 I told him to stop calling me Mom in public!! BUT now my youngest is 40!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!

MY WORK

My JOY today is that, doors and windows are OPEN!!!!! A cool front came through with rain to break the horrible heat wave!!! I have been feeling even more of a prisoner in the house lately, because I couldn't even go outside without feeling the heat immediately. MS and heat are 2 words that just don't go together!!! Besides a few years ago my brain tumor broke the thermostat in my brain,as I describe it, and I'm always too hot when others think it's very comfortable. Not me!!! Sure hope it stays this way,but reality tells me that it won't!!! We still have the dog days of August to come yet!!! Wouldn't it be great if it could just stay Fall,my favorite time of year, all year round!!! BUT then I do think snow is one of the most beautiful things there is. Especially at night when it's snowing and everything is so still and quite and glowing. OK enough about the weather that only God can control!!! I'd like to show you some finished items that I have for sale. Hope you like them!!!
PS: If you click on the pictures you'll get a better look at the items.

                                                               HOOKED SAMPLER RUG
This design is actually a penny rug designed by Nancy Moore that was in the magazine PRIMITIVE QUITS and PROJECTS. She named it,Rhapsody in White, I guess because of the colors she chose. When I adapted the design to be a hooked rug I thought of it more as a sampler.

I used a vintage Woolrich wool to hook the basket or pot, whichever it looks like to you, and for the binding on the back.
The rug is a large one at approx. 19" X 21"
I'm asking a bargain price for this one of a kind rug of $225.00 which INCLUDES shipping to the USA.SOLD THANK YOU!!!

PRIMITIVE X STITCH PINKEEP
This wonderful X stitch design is by, The Blue Attic, stitched by me.

I used a coarse heavier vintage linen that's naturally aged on both pinkeeps.

It's approx. 3" X 12" and completely stuffed with wool.

I'm sorry that this picture is blurry. It's a sweet repro flannel.

I used an antiqued crocheted piece for the hanger that I attached with rusty pins and antique buttons. There's also a vintage string of antique buttons and antique straight pins.

Asking $48.00 for this one of a kind pinkeep AND that INCLUDES the Shipping.SOLD THANK YOU

ONE OF A KIND RUG FOR SALE!!!!!

So I tried having an auction here on my blog for this rug.

For this Wonderful ONE of a KIND Hooked by Moi (that's french for me) (I think) Hit or Miss Rug

Now Hit or Miss style rugs are my favorite to hook, BUT they're not so easy. They actually take longer to hook,at least for me,because I don't just take a worm at random to hook. The color has to be right,so there's often reverse hooking being done.

For this rug I was inspired by a design in the book, COMFORT ZONE
By Maggie Bonanomi.

The rug measures approx. 21" X 26"
A great size for the floor or hanging on a wall!!!

BIDDING STARTS AT $20.00

Winner Pays Shipping

There is a reserve (I'm not a totally crazy old broad)

PLEASE POST YOUR BIDS IN THE COMMENTS
THANK YOU!!!

SO HAVE FUN
and
LET THE BIDDING BEGIN!!!!

I'd like to thank the ladies who did bid on this rug!!!!
However the reserve was not met.

SO I'm offering this rug for a fantastic price of:

$225.00 + Shipping

THANK YOU!!!!!

THIS RUG IS SOLD

Thank You To All Bidders
