PHM UPDATE DAY

Good Morning!! Sissy & I got a late start today,we didn't get up till 9, guess we were tired. I'm surprised the phone didn't wake us up with one of those severly annoying computerized calls that come everyday at ALWAYS a bad time. But never fear the pohone did ring with one of those calls before the coffee was brewed. Well now I have my coffee, so will you join me by clicking on The Primitive Handmades Mercantile banner over there on the right to look at all the new offerings of the wonderful artists??? See you there!!!! Sherry....OUT

BARGAIN BLOGGIN'

Sorry that's it's been so long that I've posted. Lotsa "stuff" goin' on,but nothing good. I know this is pretty unusual, but it's what I've come up with. GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!! I know it's really difficult to make an offer on things.I don't like to do it either, but I thought it might help you all if you're interested to know that so far I have 2 kind offers that I haven't accepted as of yet. The 1st offer is for the FREEDOM rug of $55.00 The 2nd offer is for the watermelon and 1 strawberry of $35.00 So I'm hoping that by telling you this that it will make you feel more comfortable to send me an offer if you're interested in any of these items. THANK YOU!!!! All the items that I'm posting here are for sale. BUT they don't have prices!!! I am offering these items for the prices that you'd like to offer. Yup that's how this is gonna work. If you see something that you'd like to have, please email me with your offer at jstoff@windstream.net or you can just click contact me over there on the right where the doll is. Please don't be shy about sending me an offer!!!! I guess the way I'll do this is to leave this up for awhile and take the best offers. Again please don't hesitate to contact me,sumpthins better than nuttins, Right???? 1st up is "FREEDOM" rug. I did this one from one of Robin's,Bird In The Hand wonderful doodles. It's approx. 14" X 16". I hand sewed 13 antique buttons on it to represent the original 13 colonies.
My original hooked watermelon is approx.10" X 4 1/2". I've handsewn a backing & gusset on the bottom in green wool. I've weighted the bottom and then filled it with wool snippets. It does stand on it's own.
I have 4 of my original hooked strawberries,so you can buy 1 or more. I use about 1 & 1/2 skeins of floss to handstitch a million seeds. there's vintage red wool hand sewn on the back & they're stuffed with wool snippets. They're 5" long X 3 1/2" wide. They look neat with the watermelon!!!
Well that's it for now. Shipping will be charged to your zip code and yes I'd be happy to combine shipping. My email: jstoff@windstream.net Sherry.....OUT
